Artificial Intelligence technology and applications will be used everywhere. The reason GLAD developed Artificial Intelligence Literacy (AIL) is to help non-professional AI users learn the basic knowledge, technology and applications of AI. The content of the AIL programs are divided into several modules, such as AI Basics, AI Applications and Development, AI Knowledge Concepts, AI Technical Concepts, and AI Advanced Techniques.
Based on the needs of different applications, the AIL programs have been divided into two levels: Fundamentals and Essentials. GLAD also provides PVQC programs for learning AI vocabulary and keywords (PVQC-AI).

About Artificial Intelligence Literacy (AIL) Certification

Artificial Intelligence Literacy (AIL) Certification validates the candidate’s readiness to succeed in environments that require the use of the basic knowledge, technology and applications of AI. Objectives for the AIL exams are determined by the GLAD Workplace Competency Council (GWCC), a panel of subject matter experts (SMEs) representing GLAD’s global audience.

The AIL programs are internationally recognized and reflect the most relevant Artificial Intelligence literacy knowledge and skills needed in today’s academic and business settings. To certify, a candidate must take either a Fundamentals level exam or an Essentials level exam.
